ABOUT Tasia's Indigo School

 

T.I.S. is a 501c3 Nonprofit. that provides early childhood education in the inner-city of Chicago’s south side Chatham neighborhood for children ages 3-5.  It primarily serves children from low-income families and has identified a strong need to provide literacy instruction for most of the parents of the children they serve so they may support their child’s learning, housing, and financial stability. The home-based school curriculum.



Our Mission: To create young entrepreneurs who will have the knowledge and skill set to                                monetize their craft for the benefit of enhancing their community.

Our Vison: The first career elementary trade school that will prepare and motivate our                                  students for a changing world.  

 

Tasias Indigo schools Inc, students begin learning at birth.  Our curriculum will ensure that all families it serves have access to high-quality early childhood education that can help mitigate some of the impacts of poverty.  The school’s focus is a strong curriculum of literacy, emotional intelligence, STEAM including coding and robotics, foreign language, and history, teachers prepare children for success in school and beyond. 

 

 

 

Our student culture plays a key role in the experience at Tasia's Indigo Schools Inc. We’ve created a safe and accessible environment where students are encouraged to discuss ideas, collaborate on projects, share their work and receive feedback with pride. We give students the foundation to reach their potential and gain confidence both academically and socially.
